Terms & Conditions

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices are in US dollars.

Payment Terms

Our terms are net 30 days with credit approval. Customers with overdue accounts are subject to credit hold and

may have future shipments sent COD or credit card payment only.

Minimum Billing/Handling Charges

$30.00 net minimum billing (excluding shipping charges) applies to any order. A handling charge will be added to

any order under our minimum billing to equal $30.00.

Shipping Charges

Shipping is prepaid and added to the invoice at the shipper’s current published rates. Within North America, RKI

ships via United Parcel Service ground unless otherwise specied.

Dangerous Goods Shipments

Dangerous goods (calibration gas cylinders and kits) incur additional handling and shipping charges. Third party /

collect billing shipments that include dangerous goods will be assessed a $20 hazmat handling fee.

Drop Shipments

RKI will drop ship to customers at no extra charge. RKI’s default method of shipment is UPS Ground.

Next Day Delivery

Orders that require next day delivery must be received by 12:00 noon PST. Items ordered will ship if they are in

stock. Customers must conrm next day orders by phone to assure next day delivery.

Order Acknowledgement

RKI conrms all orders by fax. Discrepancies must be challenged by the customer before the scheduled ship date;

otherwise RKI accepts no responsibility for incorrect orders.

Shortages/Errors

Claims for shortage, shipping errors or damage must be made within 7 days after receipt of shipment.

Returns and Credits

Returns for credit must be accompanied by an RKI Material Return Form. Contact RKI for the Material Return Form,

RMA number, and reason for return. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days only; after 30 days a new number must be

requested. Returns not accompanied by a complete Material Return Form (with valid RMA number) will be returned

to the sender. A restocking fee of $75.00 or 10% of the invoice value (whichever is greater) will apply to all credit

returns. Shipping charges are not credited.

No returns of sensors, or instruments with sensors will be accepted after 30 days. No returns on dangerous goods

(cylinders) or perishable items (tablets or tapes) shipments will be accepted.

Returns for Repair

All items returned for repair must be accompanied by a completed service order form with each instrument. The

form must include a description of the problem. The Service Order Form is available on page 52 of this price list and

also on our web site.

International Shipping Charges

Any customs fees and/or import taxes, or duties that apply at country of destination, are the responsibility of the

consignee. RKI quotes only the shipping (transportation) cost.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee that our equipment will perform to our specications. If the customer is not satised, the equipment

may be returned to RKI within 15 days of original shipment for full credit less shipping charges, if accompanied by a

completed Material Return Form (and valid RMA number) and in new condition.

Demo (Loaned) Equipment

Demo equipment is invoiced when shipped. Invoice must be paid, or instrument returned, within 30 days (or

agreed upon terms). Credit will be issued when instrument is returned. Borrower is responsible for any damage.
